About Coach Ambroshia Mandagaran

Nickname: Broshia

Ambroshia is an all-around health enthusiast. She loves public health and has dedicated her career to focusing on disease prevention and health promotion. She has practiced yoga for almost 10 years, been a runner for about 5 years, and an avid CrossFitter for 4 years. She blames her CrossFit addiction on her husband Mark. He told her to try it out, and now it’s the love of her life--after him and little Zoe of course. Ambroshia loves how challenging CrossFit is, and that’s why she decided to become a coach. She loves helping people grow mentally and physically through every WOD they do.

Beth fell in love with CrossFit after a back injury left her with no choice but to get strong and healthy. From the very first class of death by box jumps in 8/2012, she was in LOVE. Being addicted to the way CrossFit made her feel, it changed how she fueled her body, becoming passionate about using REAL, WHOLE food as fuel for our bodies.  This passion of being fit, believing in herself and being as healthy as possible, is something she wants to share with everyone, of all ages. Beth loves being active outside hiking, mountain biking, and being horseback.

World-Class Fitness in 100 Words

"Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: deadlift, clean, squat, presses, clean and jerk, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climbs, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports."
